Jasu Khan was born in Bisu Kalan, Barmer, Rajasthan, in a traditional Manganiar Family of hereditary musicians., in the house of Shri Sattar Khan, an excellent Manganiar Vocalist and Harmonium player.
Jasu was initiated into music at the tender age of 6 years. He first started learning singing from his father, and leter, under the guidance of his maternal uncle, Shri Samandar Khan, a leading Mangniar Vocalist, Kartaal player and Sufi artist and composer.
Jasu aspires to be a great artist like his maternal grandfather, Ustad Saddique Khan, Who was an internationally acclaimed artist, a singer and wizard of kartal - he is often referred to as the father of kartaal playing - and who was honoured for his art with the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, the Tulsi Samman, and an honourary Citizenship by the city of Marietta, Ohio, U.S.A. Jasu Khan's interest extends to Rajasthani, Sufi as well as film Songs.
he has been performing all over the country in prestigious events with his uncle, Shri Samandar Manganiar, including major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hydrabad, Ahmadabad, Kilkata, etc.
He made his mark as a singer on the National Stage when he participated in The Voice Kids on television, and made it to 6th position on the show as one of the favourite contestants.
Correctness of sur or pitching and versatility are his forte as a singer.
